Who Niv Levy is, how he came into construction, and what our Pasadena roofing team does.

Niv Levy and Pasadena Roofing Contractors

Pasadena Roofing Contractors is a division of Home Vision Remodel. Niv Levy sits on the roofing side of that work.

From California law into construction

Niv Levy's first career was in law, and he worked as an attorney in California. He founded a law firm, Levy Law PC.

His practice there centered on business and contract matters.

Clear scope mattered in that work, and it matters in construction too. A roofing proposal should state what comes off, what stays, and how concealed damage gets handled.

Construction pulled him back, so Niv moved from law into building work. He became a contractor himself, like his father.

He did not arrive in roofing as an outsider, because the trade was already familiar from home.

The family construction background

Niv's grandfather worked in construction, and his father is a contractor. Niv grew up around the trade from childhood.

He grew up in a regular home, not on job sites. Construction was the family profession.

He learned early how construction failures develop and why. He also learned which shortcuts cost more later.

That history shows up in how our team talks about a roof. We explain the condition, the options, and the trade-offs before you decide what to do next.

How Niv and the team work with property owners

A few callers ask whether they have reached a call center. One caller also asked about a marketing referral service.

We are the roofing company and we do the work ourselves, so Niv and the team answer roofing questions.

Leaks are the most common reason people call us, with repairs and full replacements close behind.

Permits come up on plenty of roofing calls. When a roofing permit is required, our team helps the property owner pull it from the city holding jurisdiction.

We cannot tell you how a city will rule on a permit. We can explain what that step usually involves.

What a first call usually covers

Our first question is usually the property address, which tells us a lot before we quote anything.

Then we ask what the roof is doing. A leak, a slipped tile, and an aging roof are different problems.

We also ask whether the building is a home or a commercial property, and who owns it.

Those details shape everything that follows, because they tell us what kind of quote makes sense.

The roofing work behind the name

Niv and our team handle roofs on homes and commercial buildings around Pasadena. Each main service has its own page here.

Systems we work on

We work with asphalt shingle, tile, flat low-slope, and metal roofing. Tile roofs often need new underlayment rather than new tile.

The underlayment fails decades before the tile does. So we lift the tile, replace the layer beneath, and restack it.

Commercial buildings usually bring flat or low-slope roofs, and those jobs often begin as a repair question.

What we find under a roof

Once a roof is open, bad decking is the most common surprise, and flashing is the second.

Wood decking that has taken water needs replacing before anything new goes down. It is the most common reason a quote changes.

Flashing seals the joints at walls, chimneys, and valleys, which is where a lot of leaks begin.

When Pasadena roofs start causing trouble

Most roofing calls follow the weather, since the first heavy rain of the season finds every weak spot.

December through February is the busiest stretch for roofing work, because that is when most people notice a problem.

Leak calls are the ones we try to reach soonest. A small leak can soak the decking underneath over time.

Free estimates and paid inspection reports

These are two different things, and the difference matters, because people who mix them up feel surprised later.

An estimate or quote for roofing work is free, and you can ask for one at any point.

A detailed roof inspection with a written report is a separate paid service for escrow and insurer paperwork.

Its fee depends on the size of the roof and the number of stories. Call the team for the current figure.
